Oil
I've always loved to draw.  When I was a child, I told people that I wanted to be and artist when I grew up.  It took me until I was almost 40 years old and all of my 3 children were mostly grown to seriously begin my art "career".  I began by taking a watercolor class and became obsessed.  I've taken dozens of classes and workshops in various media since then.  some of the artists I credit with educating me are:  Nancy Teeling Baltins, Bob Comings, Paula Gray, Wayne Knight, Tony Couch, Judy Betts, Dale Laitinen, Jane Burnham, Erin Dertner, Barbara Nechis, Christopher Schink and Mac Magruder.

"I enjoy a variety of art media.  I love to do portraits in oil and pastel.  I sculpt in clay, doing mostly masks and figures.  I prefer to do landscapes and flowers in watercolor, attempting to capture the play of light on the subject.  I can't limit myself to one method because each one has its appeal depending on the task."
